Four ways to unrestrict NameBase

two methods for a $50 single-user membership:

• enter a password before every session
• use your password to set a cookie

two additional methods for a $200 multiple-machine registration:

• small institutions: If your website is on an ISP's server, set up a page that only you and your associates know about. This page has a link to our program. We use the referrer info for validation and unrestrict the session. It's like an automatic password, as long as you enter NameBase from your page, and it works from home or office.
• large institutions: If you run your own server, we unrestrict all searches from your domain automatically. This normally doesn't work from other locations, so it's often used in conjunction with one of the above methods.

How to get a password

You can activate your password instantly. We will snail-mail an invoice, payable within 30 days by cash, check, or money order, for the two-year registration. Once we receive payment, you can order photocopies or faxes on a "30 days net" basis. Fill in the boxes and click Send to NameBase.

Multiple machine registrations require setup (no extra charge); if you need either or both of the extra unrestrict methods (referrer or domain), mention this on the comment line and our we will get back to you.
